Trip Itinerary
DAY 1: Your Adventure Begins
You will be met by our guide who will transfer you to Kigali City. You will Drive North of Kigali to Kinigi through Ruhengeri. Enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known and it was named a land of a thousand hills . DAY 2: Parc National des Volcans
Early morning our tour guide will take you to Kinigi Park Headquarters to track gorillas in Parc National des Volcans (PNV). Gorilla trekking through the forest, hills and swamps can be rough, grueling and tiring, sometimes taking up to long hours in the forest searching for those great apes. But coming face to face with the great primates is well worth the effort.

DAY 3: Parc National des Volcans
Have a cup of coffee /tea then embark on tracking the golden monkeys. These are spectacular monkey and can’t be missed when you came to Parc National des Volcans (PNV). After lunch you will visit the local communities there is a chance of associating with the rwandansee, learn how to make the local foods, their dances and listen to their stories. DAY 4: Journey to Uganda
Drive to Kisoro and on to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. Either guided nature walk in Gahinga. After lunch you will visit the natural, beautiful-looking Lake Mutanda, surrounded by the volcanoes, take a walk on the shores. Dinner and overnight mt Mgahinga lodge/ Travellers Rest Hotel.
DAY 5: Gorilla Tracking
Gorilla tracking in Nkuringo or Rushaga Sector in Southern Bwindi. It is physically challenging so physical fitness is a great paramount when tracking in nkuringo. Trackers should have their lunch packed for them since this activity may take too long when searching for the great apes. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge (Budget) / Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Mid Lodge) / Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury)
DAY 6: In Bwindi; guided walks
Have a cup of coffee/ tea. Embark on a guided nature walk in the forest for butterflies, plant and bird species Bwindi was recognized as the best place for arthnilogists because it has a lot Albertine birds. After lunch, travel to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the best places to relax and wind after the gorilla trek. DAY 7: Lake Bunyonyi Tour
Full Day Excursion at Lake Bunyonyi. Take a boat and explore some of the interesting islands within the lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Overland Camp (Budget) / Arcadia Cottage (Midrange) / Lake Bunyonyi Bird Nest (Luxury)
DAY 8: Travel Back to Kampala / Kigali
